St Edburg's Church - Bicester
St Edburg's Church choir accompanied by our Church organist, lead the worship at our Sunday at the 10:30 AM Sung Eucharist and at our combined services. It also sings at all major festivals, at monthly Sung Eucharist, at the Patronal Evensongs in our Benefice Churches and at special and Civic Services.
The choir is an all-age, including juniors, and we have over 20 members. We are a robed choir. Being a Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) affiliated choir we aim to reach the highest standards possible in leading the music for worship, and our repertoire includes Sung Service settings , traditional hymns, worship songs from the Iona and Taize traditions, psalms and anthems, sung in unison or in harmony up to four part.
As an RCMS choir we have the opportunity to improve our singing by attending RCMS workshops, courses and the annual Choirs Festival.
