St Edburg's Church - Bicester

Two of the nine historic brasses dating between 1500 and the early 1600s that have recently been re-mounted in the Church. Some of these had not been on display for many years. Following the theft of one figure of a man fifty years ago, other brasses considered to be insecure were removed and stored until they could be remounted safely. All nine have now been conserved, cleaned and placed back on the walls with secure fixings.
